About at 1.5 years she became great… but I hate to tell you. She’s 9 now and still has a lot of energy.
The energy isn't the issue currently. Ours is actually pretty calm so far considering the breed lol. It's the obstinate behavior lol. We work to tire her out mentally and physically daily but sometimes she's just a turd 😂
I'm cool with the energy anyways because we try to hike and stay active so that's okay with me. She also herds the chickens so that tires her out some
Mine is an absolute people pleaser. Very little obstinacy - she did eat a few remote controls during teething, but that was about it. Recall got a lot better after long lead training. You’re going to have a great companion on the end of that leash soon enough!
She is slowly getting better with leash. I've been working with her on the long lead and her recall is pretty good. Even when she is chasing lizards she will usually recall. If you try and get her to do something she doesn't want to do though ......... It can be super frustrating.
She is a very loving dog and intelligent. She is just stubborn though. She doesn't really care about people pleasing. Maybe as she gets older that will change. She is still really young
