Alone I sit, with thoughts so deep

No one around me seems to keep

A mind as vast, a heart so pained

Am I the only one who's truly sane?

The world around me moves so fast

A never-ending cycle that won't last

People laugh and people talk

But deep down, I'm the only one who walks

The road of true understanding

Of pain and suffering so demanding

No one else can truly see

The world the way it's meant to be

I sit alone and wonder why

No one else can hear my cry

Am I the only one who feels?

The world around me so unreal

But though I may be all alone

I know that I am not unknown

For there are others, just like me

Lost in thought and misery.
