Never read the book but looking at the amazon reviews it must have orange pilled a substantial amount of people before it got censored.

Jason had a really big following on Twitter, full of both fans and haters. But it looks like everyone who ended up buying the book actually found it very valuable. As for it orange pilling people, I think it really was more of a pill for people who already knew about Bitcoin to think about it in a new light. The book did really well, but Jason had to stop selling it, most likely because he was ordered to by his superiors in the military.
