France 🇫🇷: The Macron government intends to force supermarkets in France to reduce food prices by up to 10% under the threat of financial sanctions.

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maires declared that: “There will be inspections and there will be sanctions for anyone who does not comply with the rules.”

Annual food inflation in the Eurozone currently stands at 19%.

Supermarket groups EBITDA is generally in the 5-10% region. 10% overall price cut equals massive supplier squeeze or loss making supermarkets.

Half of the politicians are too stupid and naive to understand this, the other half is evil enough and work for the WEF/UN/globalist bankers.

Rather than interfering in markets they could help people if they increased the progressive tax brackets by the value of inflation seen in the last couple of years. But zero chance that will happen as Turkeys dont vote for Xmas.

They should start buying less food to sell and start reducing employees. Macron should be executed for being an asshat
