Why does Damus have a delete button anyway, was that just to please the Apple overlords?

Yeah
I guess the intent was to prevent apps from allowing users to easily sign up on an app only to have them go through multiple hoops to delete an account.
But it seems weird to me for a blockchain based technology to have deletable accounts.
