Once upon a time there was a guy. He wanted to change Bitcoin. His vision was full of color and flowers and bees and rainbows. He wrote BIP 300 and founded a company which success relied upon the change he wished to see. But to his misfortune very aggressive cyber hornets came to defend Bitcoin, because they preferred to not fuck with the base layer of Bitcoin for rainbows and bees and stuff, because of unintended and not foreseeable consequences. They preferred to have money no one can fuck with instead of all the fancy fairytale dust.
