It’s definitely worth it. If you can manage your money well and live within your means, it’s more than worth it.
Just the cost of fuel, wear & tear on a full time (in use) vehicle, after paying all your taxes from the said job and daycare in some cases…your basically breaking even depending on the job of course.
My wife did 6yrs of university, and went to private school. She did pretty good in university, but ultimately all she has is a couple degrees hanging on the wall. She’s lucky she has wealthy parents that paid for all of it, otherwise she’d be in debt up to her ass with no job like most that come out of college or university.
The skills she did learn has definitely helped our business though. She’s the brains, I’m just the general labourer lol.
So in a way, her university has helped us, but all we’re doing is continuing to feed a broken system with broken education.
