imo this will a groundswell from the smaller governments first, such as El Salvador, caught up by the laggards last, the G7 nations, because they have the most to lose

but bitcoin will have made such obvious inroads around the entire globe that ppl will be transacting anyway, without permission, because adoption will have matured

Yes, but if countries realize this will be the natural course of things anyways, they can avoid it. Circumvent this by adoption rather than resistance.
