In the past few years there's been a steady trend of select folks, who are new to the space, preaching what a "good Bitcoiner" looks like; how they eat, what religion they follow, whether or not they touch shitcoins, etc.

There was nothing like this in the first few years after Satoshi unveiled the Bitcoin whitepaper. A cookie-cutter expectation (or in some cases a declaration) of how one is to live as a good Bitcoiner is antithetical to the openness of Bitcoin. "You must be like x, y, z or you're excommunicated" isn't the correct mindset.

The only belief anyone was expected to hold, or at the very least not even a belief but an understanding, was that the State isn't their friend, their money is debased and not backed by anything tangible, and there are those who govern that seek to only enrich themselves.

#Bitcoin fixes this. That's all anyone needs to care about. Anything else is just someone's attempt at forcing their own dogma.
