Isn’t this where https://pears.com wins? Why can’t it be incorporated into NOSTR to reduce dependency on relays? Everyone becomes a relay.

How long you have the phone off during its life time? 0,1%?
Also if you understand how hole-punch / pears works then you’d realise it’s not an issue.
