When people stopped praying to God and started praying to the government instead societies problems really started.

The great thing about praying to God is that those prayers usually go unanswered.

People praying to government to fix their problems, however, frequently have their prayer met.

Which causes all sorts of strife.

In my experience many governments have made it their business to capture the church to “confuse” the people as well. Thankfully, as my Latin siblings often say, #dios es grande,” and God still hears the people. Though so much damage is done by the govt and other violent power structures.
