Yeah, not just signal. I have seen false ideas about the cryptography and security of other messengers too. FUDing privacy tools demoralizes people into giving up on privacy.

Absolutely do it. I have some docs I compiled comparing the properties of different messengers I could send you. (Mostly focused on Signal and Matrix with full MLS. Less about SimpleX, Bramble, etc.)
