Nassim Taleb's character is curious, he preaches a story in his books that he himself does not apply in his real life.

I will always remember him as someone who swallowed the pandemic and put on mask after mask, even protecting his eyes so as not to die from a virus that never existed.

He will always be the character who said that Lebanon's banks were in great health, no need for me to recount everything that happened after those statements.

He will always be the character who predicted the death of Bitcoin and denied its usefulness.

Curiously, he is the antithesis of Saifedean, whom he also criticized and is his archenemy. Saifedean, unlike Taleb, leads by example.

Taleb is a Fiat system character and Saifedean is a Bitcoin man.

Taleb is a disappointment. He's a stupid person's idea of a smart person. And his books are hard to read

Taleb wrote the foreword for the first edition of The Bitcoin Standard which just seems so damn strange today

Taleb had skin in the game with the pandemic.

I think in The Black Swan (or maybe FbR) he theorized about a global pandemic being major BS - unexpected super high-imoact event that would ratlle the world.

When it then actually came to be, he could picture himself -once more- as this prophetic superhero who" told y'all so".

He was essentially falling for his own narrative, and thought he hit the jackpot by being right another time. Which has turned him into an even bigger asshole ..

What a sad character

# really like the guys books, but cannot stand his ignorance or bitcoin, he's just aregular normie investor, so let him stick to what he knows....fuck em!
