A pointless attack on our freedom; a ban on so-called Ninja swords will only affect the law-abiding
Swords and knives are not the problem, it is the people who wield them. So-called Ninja swords are now to be banned from sale, in a move known as ‘Ronan’s Law’, but this will not have the effect of preventing violent attacks with edged weapons.
Scoundrel politicians will forever pretend to 'fix' problems by banning symptoms of said problem; what is rare to see is a politician that takes aim at a root cause of a problem.
Problem: Subdued, for a while perhaps.
Civil liberties: Additionally reduced by means of the salami method.
Government scope: Likely forever increased.
Egoes of politicians: Unecessarily inflated.
