If the Raspberri PI4 and 5 are starting to baulk as the go-to for running a Bitcoin node and maybe do a few other things, like LN, mixing coins and running your nostr relay, what are the go-to mini PCs to look at?

- HP Micro 800 G3

- Lenovo ThinkCentre M700

- LattePanda 3 Delta

I use m900s - on eBay they are cheap and very reliable

Dell Micro towers are great and refurb prices and pretty low. Just buy a new SSD to go with it.

Dell SFF refurbs.

i5 or better generally preferred.

minimum 8GB, but prefer 16 or 32

get one with small ssd, as youll be replacing it anyways with a 2TB or larger

all in cost for machine and drive will be about $200

M700 is a good value

Stick with the off-lease tier 1 OEM manufacturers imo. Hp/Dell/Lenovo/etc. Preferably business grade over consumer

If you've got an old laptop kicking around, it works as a great server/node. My LN routing node runs off a 2012 MacBook running Debian.
