If you're trying to use a zap link from Zaplinks.lol, remember it is a weblink, meant to be scanned by your regular phone camera. Lightning wallets only scan lightning addresses, lnurls and invoices. It won't know what to do with that. If you want a QR that's scannable by a lightning wallet you can generate one in WOS,LNbits, Lightningtipbot and most other wallets already.

The idea behind this is to connect nostr zapping to the average user who's just going to scan a QR with their camera, which also allows them to connect to your nostr profile and connect with you or onboard to Nostr.

If you're curious about the data contents of the QR you generate, you can always verify it with a tool like this:

I'd also like to generate cooler QRs eventually, but I'm just glad to have this functionally working! If you want to be too cool for school you can also use the link itself to generate a cool QR for yourself at:

www.qrcodechimp.com

That will even let you embed your pfp in it, do custom colors and patterns, but always verify your fancy QR scans. Sometimes overly ornate codes are a bitch to get to work. I've had good luck with it.
