The global feed is very useless in my opinion. It would be much better to have hashtags and a trendtopic list instead. Relay does not provide a list of hashtags, but it would be more useful if it was integrated.

Maybe it's possible to do some clustering of users / activity to organically find topics. Or a feed could be a few network "hubs" along with some of their follows / followers.
