Just remember that the same people that say Tucker Carlson is a "tRaiToR" for interviewing Putin once thought it was stunning and brave to have President Ahmadinejad speak at Columbia University under the banner of "mUh fRee sPeAcH".

"I'm very proud of my school right now," said Jivan Kurinec '09SEAS, who watched the 90-minute presentation inside Roone Arledge Auditorium. "We gave Ahmadinejad the respect to speak, and that speaks volumes about our character."

This was in 2007 not so long ago.

So whats the point? Both putin and ahmadinejad are digusting? Or putin is good and ahmadinejad is bad? Or vice versa? Or they are disgusting but its good to have them on planet so that they do what they do to their people and neighbours while you’re out of range, along with tucker carlson and all his respected audience?

The point is CONSISTENCY! I don't care if a world leader is "disgusting" because that is subjective anyway.

We should hear all sides especially when we are talking about wars and potential wars. I am pro free speech, pro free journalism, always.

It is principle over preference, you should give it a shot. There are people I despise way more than Putin. Honestly every federal politician in the US has done more harm to me than Putin, but I don't want them silenced.

I think the head of Venezuela is one of the most revolting humans on the planet but if someone did a real interview with him like Tucker just did with Putin I'd listen, hell may be I am wrong, may be I am right but don't have the full picture.

I don't silo my sources of information to suit my bias. I think we we should never stop talking to and hearing from all sides in a conflict. EVERY FUCKIN WAR ENDS WITH DIPLOMACY, so why not FUCKING START THERE YOU DAFT DIPSHIT. If we did so perhaps would could prevent the sensless killing of millions.

Meh, just let the neolib & neocon morons everywhere provoke the carpark response, it's clearly what they want...

We can sit it out in a unprofitable for targetting zone, sounds like a win at this point. πŸ˜‚

Bonus, in a century there will be new ruins for kids to explore.

Think Positive. πŸ˜‚

Out of range... πŸ˜‚

And WTF is it with Poles & their "colonies" attacking an enclave of another ethnic group & thinking the larger body of that ethnic group won't respond... That's twice in under a century now.

Ah so you never heard before what that old kgb rat lies - then youre free to poison your moronic brain with whatever crap you want

Quite a nice diplomacy you will have. Good luck

Btw, be prepared to negotiate with Putin about Alaska. Historically it has always been Russian.

I thought my response here deserved its own note on my time line so here goes....

Besides, if I had the chance to interview the worst possible human in power anywhere, I’d jump on it. (Providing that I would survive the experience) Not least because I would get firsthand accurate unfiltered info on their intents and be able to spread that info to everyone who might be able to counteract it.
