I haven't tried Pop! OS. I think it's made by System76, which I hear is a great company.

I've never really liked Ubuntu, but love Linux Mint, which was based on Ubuntu. It recently rebased to Debian. Since Ubuntu is based on Debian, this should mean we get faster security patches now.

Yeah mint has been solid for me for a long time, and for what I need (Ubuntu based, X11 Display server, not snap reliant) Mint rules. Until now! The test will be how long pop lasts without breaking itself on an update.

I used Mint for years. Then Fedora. Then Pop! for a bit. Then Debian during my purist phase. Now I've found my way back to Ubuntu.

I found Pop! fun and usable. And I still use their shell extensions on Ubuntu and Fedora.

Nice one. Ubuntu 24 or 25?

I am too old now for anything but LTS. So 24.
