In this place the blocked can still see and comment. You're blocks serve to conceal the scrutiny of folks that would otherwise engage with you.
Blocking people because they're wasting your time is perfectly reasonable. Not all scrutiny is worthwhile.
Agreed. But it isn't "about sending a message" here.
