Junior developer had to write a proposal for a GitHub app to synchronize deploy keys for K8.

I had to return it for review, because I became angry while reading it. The smell of ChatGPT was so obvious that I felt taken for an idiot. Mediocre SEO marketing words sprinkled all over the text.

Are the defaults of ChatGPT really that bad? Is it at least tuneable to please me?

The real question is: If he just uses ChatGPT, what do you need him for?

Either he should write much better, or you give the AI the prompt yourself.

He’s learning. He’s just too comfortable with easy results. This will work out eventually. I’m very sure about this one 🙂
