I really like Nostr, and even if I'm quite sure it has a bright future ahead I'm still really doubtful that it will completely replace other social networks or even blogging.

Many people don't intend to be non-custodial as it requires some efforts they are not disposed to do.

We can't - and shouldn't - blame them, not everybody has the knowledge - or time to aknowledge - this kind of responsability.

Maybe some services will provide custody for those users that will help adoption. The most important thing is for user having the freedom to chose the way they want to go, like switching from custodial to non-custodial ( and back ).

Freedom is not in doing something, but in being able to do something.
