It will be years before anyone starts to rebuild. I wonder if the Green Communists will let many of them rebuild. I bet the water front homes west of PCH will be denied. Too many areas along the Ca coast already need sea walls/ retaining wall to stop the erosion of the cliffs. This seems like a no brainer. The owners will be told, take the payout or fight for decades in court.

Probably the same people who’ve been quietly rebuilding dreams and communities everywhere—hardworking folks who rarely get the spotlight they deserve.
