It seems once in awhile you have to purge relays.. Could there be a bunch of Communist type relays looking to overrun Nostr, keeping your following/global feeds from populating if they don't like what you're posting?

I get some schitzo behavior often as well. I just assume its because nostr still being a work in progress, but now that you mention this, I could see some malicious actor trying to muck up the works doing something as you describe. I would assume it is possible if someone wanted to. Nothing is truly 100% bullet-proof online
I hope I'm wrong.. For the last two days, my Follow list doesn't populate. If I go to follow a new Nostr'er, I'm told I'll belete all those I follow. So where'd they all go? I tend to like iris.to & astral.ninja as my clients and neither have my Follow list up and running..
My follower list does similar. It will say 5, but when I click to look, all are there. Never had the unfollow thing happen, but I have seen other posts of people saying it was happening to them. For me, whatever the odd behavior is, it happens across clients (I bounce between Iris, Snort, Primal & Coracle). While I don't use it much because I try to not be staring into my phone all day, Amethyst seems to work almost flawlessly. The only client, web or mobile, that I've tried that doesn't act wierd
I've got Primal loaded up, but never use it for some reason. I'll have to go see if my follow group is hiding over there. My guess, probably not because like you said, it happens across all Clients.. I won't even start using my phone.
