Maple is private and encrypted. We don't really have a system prompt for Maple, so it doesn't really know that itself exists. In this screenshot, you're speaking to the Meta Llama 3.3 open source model. No data is sent back to Meta.

With respect to setting expectations for a user like nostr:nprofile1qqspw5udc2nzw6wsj3plrrphe0343744h0ucz9e4g248chl3w8kh03qpremhxue69uhhyetvv9uhxtnvv9hxgtmnwpshg6tpdehhxarjvyq3samnwvaz7tmhda6zuum4v3hkxctjd3hhxtnrdaks0tjwc3, what are some ways to improve user confidence around privacy and encryption when using Maple?
I’ve never made a chatbot client, but curious on your thoughts!
We provide all server and client code as open source. Users can make a reproducible build that gives them a fingerprint to compare with the secure enclave on Maple servers. That way you know exactly the code running on the servers.
We’ve got a more detailed write up here https://blog.opensecret.cloud/opensecret-technicals/
Thanks for the response! Gonna try and make something with Maple so I can better understand how this all works

Why not? It’s simple and the UX vastly improves
Clarify. We let the user dictate the system prompt. Click the robot.

The pre-pre-prompt should include all of the info about what Maple is and how it works. At least until knowledge about the company is more widely known and the models pick up that info organically.
The plan is to eventually have one. It will be required as we had strong tool use features. The prompt will always be open source so users can see it.
