How do I get my node to opt out of support for any given soft fork?

Can’t you also store an older update from a backup file if say you don’t like a future update?
Right. But then you don’t get security improvements. What if I want updated security fixes but not the soft fork? Core alternatives…
I'd like to be able to pick and choose the rules for my node... If there's a way, I don't know it
you can just not upgrade
there is plenty of nodes running even version 16 still as far as i know (was at least a few months ago)
