Nice work!

In the early days a global feed serves more as a tutorial for users as opposed to a feed you would visit daily.

You need to help people understand the 3 modes (and personas) of social bookmarking.... organize, share, and discover. Until there is critical mass, you should use the homepage to create a juxtaposition of users bookmarks and other's bookmarks. They need to see the relationship between them. Help people see the value from both sides.

note... nobody really has anyone's npub memorized, so the "View bookmarks by npub" doesn't really serve much purpose.

also, it's not clear how global is sorted and the sort order seems random with new content.

Thanks for the feedback Ross :-)

You're totally right. nostr:npub1mswm0kyce37jsnrwa3jelm469rcnezyq505djwl4aparmf4xf2es8rxl8w was a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) until today. Every week, in consultation with enthusiastic supporters like you, we add a new feature or improve an existing functionality. We learned that Kind 30003 was not the right setup to handle bookmarks individually. The global feed sorting was therefore sorted on a set of bookmarks per user, instead of individual bookmarks. Since today we use kind 39700, so the sorting is now by last addition/update of a bookmark. A time indication also indicates this. In the next version we will improve the homepage as you suggested. Your valuable feedback is very much appreciated and remains welcome!

Because we moved to kind 39700, please move your bookmarks by hand, so copy/paste them from the old to the new client. You can reach the old (kind 30003) client by https://dc399e45.yumyume.pages.dev/signin . Sorry for the inconvenience.

We had a small update related to this today nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejz7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uqzpe4f5nu98e936snwk3xschdsnlwyzh89z0nxgyv0gm6ll04rqn9uunyq7z . So the global feed is now part of the homepage, sorting is by last added/edited, and view by npub is removed. You can click profiles directly from the global feed.

For integrating the own feed / network/global feed at the homepage I created a card at the Kanban board, so you can follow its status there as well. https://www.kanbanstr.com/#/board/ffbcb7069f7aa5d6db129eb39e7d8a9789466d255a637bac1ebf8617b0574044/53a2e669-6e3d-4dc8-8220-1de5d1106be7/card/14559029-0e4f-43ea-97fc-0922a2b1cf56

I just made a fireframe for the next step https://blob.satellite.earth/4f18afd861df11a6a353228ee1305d19200d087f10ae68893cc31c502d063e78 . nostr:npub1zqcaun7cgynyaw6dapylz9cq7g4e62kj7z78hrklkwah2dcajyeqc9uza5 Can you have a look at it? So logo is top left, in the top middle search (later), top right the profile avatar (or sign in) and hamburger menu. In the middle left the bookmarks of the user that has signed in, when not signed in a sign-in to add bookmark button. In the middle middle a global feed (the following feed will be one of the next steps). Middle right a popular sorted tag cloud (currently most used hashtags from the global feed). Progress can be followed by this note and https://www.kanbanstr.com/#/board/ffbcb7069f7aa5d6db129eb39e7d8a9789466d255a637bac1ebf8617b0574044/53a2e669-6e3d-4dc8-8220-1de5d1106be7/card/14559029-0e4f-43ea-97fc-0922a2b1cf56
