Apparently you can't import "branded products" into the US without the explicit approval of the brand.

For example, to import new Nikes into America I'd need a letter of authorization from Nike the company.

Nevermind the fact that I literally own the shoes. I'm not allowed to ship them to my own country.

How does that even make sense?
