the catholics did not disagree with gallileo because they thought the earth was flat. they just thought that the earth was the center of the universe.

it's a specious argument because although the sun is bigger than the earth, is it necessarily so that "earth is orbiting the sun" or is there a bidirectional relationship?

further, the whole notion of a "center of the universe" is also quite specious because we have never seen the edge (is this sounding familiar) and so how do we know that space itself isn't a 4d hypersphere like the surface of the earth is a 2d surface on a sphere.

because if it is, then there is no center to the universe the same way as there is no centre to the surface of the earth. it's unbounded. you can't have a center without edges.

in this respect, both gallileo/copernicus and the catholic church were both right

but even still today mainstream science insists on the big bang theory and the dark energy shit. when it should be obvious that as above so below, 2d surface without boundary on earth, 3d voluem without boundary of universe. this also means there is a horizon to the universe and we are still far away from seeing it. just check out the differences between Webb's deep field view and Hubble. still moar. and wen horizon of the curved space?

the universe is WAY BIGGER than anyone thinks, if you ask me. and getting bigger at a rate of doubling every orbit electrons, or maybe faster.

Big Bang theory takes God out the picture so the peasants will worship the state instead.

it's a stupid idea, anyway. big bang, steady state, bang-and-bust. they all don't make sense.

what does make sense is my spacetime expansion hypothesis. that all energy and phenomenon in the universe are based on the idea that space is the fundamental particle and everything else is patterns playing over them, while the number of these primary particles is constantly doubling. when the doubling happens, the universe state progresses to a new state, with the combination of expansion pushing space out through the matter structure, and matter structure's pattern of geometric structure maintenance is going the opposite direction, pushing matter together so it doesn't scatter at light speed.

my hypothesis doesn't exclude the existence of God it just frames His role as the progenitor of the system. just like when i type "go run ." my application does its thing, God wrote the code for the universe and then did "go run ." and it all started.

i also think that the creation description in Genesis was actually describing the post-flood conditions in detail, first the clouds and the water everywhere, then the water starts to drain back into the ocean basins, then the fish and animals start to return to whatever places they can find in the new state of earth, and the humans emerge from their caves and so on and so forth.

the conventional interpretations of both biblical texts and theories about the origins of the universe are all wrong.
