I’m looking at one that could be shipped to my door but only because it was made prior to 1898. Trouble is a cursory internet search tells me ammunition might be hard to find.

Um the Turkish Mausers in 8MM are not that hard to get ammo for. And you can Neck up and fire form 30-06 I think for them if you reload.

This was a swiss straight pull in 7.5x53.5, as far as I can tell I’d have to get a 7.5x55 case and trim it, a .308 bullet and use load data for .30-40 krag because no one makes it. I have no experience reloading though and I’m not sure if that’s the best place to start.
