I buy games:

1. Physically

2. Digitally on GOG

3. Reluctantly, after steep price drops, usually years after release, and accepting that I don't actually own the game, I'm just paying for a license that can be taken away at any time.

DOOM: The Dark Ages will fall into category 3.
