The other day our Boomer neighbour popped over for a social visit. He gave me a good firm handshake, looked me in the eye, and said "you need to stand a bit closer to your razor. You look like shit." He was right. We laughed and proceeded to have an afternoon of solid straight-shooting banter. No niceties, no bullshit (acrually plenty of bullshit), plenty of laughs. Civilised, intelligent and unoffensive. That's how I like it!
