The Dance (or Merchant) Hall, with an area of about 270 m², occupies the entire western wing of the palace. In terms of decorative decoration, it is the most magnificent interior of the palace, designed in a special festive spirit. It was created in 1751-1752 and fully preserved Rastrelli's original plan
