Unfortunately Bitcoin is not usable as peer to peer payment system at global scale. In many and all poor countries ppl usually do 0.3 - 1 USD size payments multiple times a day for water, snack. Nobody of that people would pay multiple times more fee and wait half hour for first confirmation while looking at sack get cold or water get hot on sun.
