There is no good or evil, right or wrong. There are only decisions, some which appear to go along with the current social order, and some which appear to be contrary, disregarding accepted social values.
Is there a such thing as preferable and non-preferable?

Not in an absolute sense, but the decision one makes is always preferable to the one making it.
So are you saying that morality is subjective?
Morality is a lie we tell ourselves to justify our own decisions, and a judgement we project on the decisions of others.
