Totally. Personally I have gotten sick from it so I'm just working with what works for me personally.

It will be really cold...

And do what you need to do to stay healthy!

I believe the cold exposure directly causing sickness may be old science or one of many other variables at play. Obviously it is still prudent to avoid hypothermia.
