I’m using Damus and the search function does not work very well, so what I did after starting to follow some profiles was to go through their list of follows and followers to find other interesting profiles.

However, there exists a very good tool you can use to search Nostr: https://nostr.band

Give it a shot and see if you can find what you’re looking for.
