Did you guys see Nimona? It's a fairy tale for kids, but the story is really good, lighthearted and heavy at the same time. It was nominated for Oscars or something.

This is what I was gonna suggest but second guessed myself until I saw it's already one of the only 2 suggestions
It's animated fairy tale. Something to easily munch popcorn to. I'm into anime and cartoons, so I enjoy those smart enough for adults, like Croods or Shrek. Nimona is very well written, kinda like Up!, maybe more whacky and also bit more heavy.
My wife has a bias against animated movies, but she loves Up! and other select few. This will make it easier to sell her on it.
Will suggest it to my wife. It seems pretty good to me. Thank you!
