Excellent post.

Religions are merely stories that unify groups of humans toward a common purpose that allows expansion of community groups beyond 150 or so.

Unfortunately, these stories inevitably require “experts” to interpret them and a “legal” framework to enforce its rules. This creates a scenario where an elite ruling class always emerges to exploit the masses.

#Bitcoin is the first human “story” that doesn’t require a ruling class. Participation is also completely voluntary. Anyone who is against such a system either doesn’t understand it yet, or is protecting their position of privilege within the existing unfair system.

No, those are religions with Gnostic and Hermeticist foundations. Most Western religions fall in this camp due to Judaisms early subversion, and its offspring becoming even more Gnostic.

Many religions cannot have "experts" as they are niether of these two parasite religions. Buddhism, Taosim, Hindusism, etc are good examples.

Bitcoin is also not the first story of "classless" rule. Utopia was written over 400 years ago and anarchism is quite old too. Democracy is a 3000 year old story. Bitcoin is just new competition.

Love it!

Will read more about this.

Just be sure to correct me where I am wrong when you do.

So rare to come across another person that gets this. :)

It took some years to get here but I swear, finding something I’m wrong about is my absolute favorite thing now.

It’s like I was in my own way my whole life before.
