nostr:npub1h6dm833nvxz8ykmp3me6uf46agyjwgc535jfn6ew5gzl8rmmtxdq4ysge0 the Jays have a lot of heavy lifting to do before next season if they want to compete but I will say this lineup looks completely different with Vladdy hitting an an MVP level and with some left handed bats who aren’t automatic outs.

I actually believed they could come back today. Even though they didn’t, that’s a good sign because if they went down by 2 or 3 early in the year I was turning the page to the next game.

It’s been fun to watch since the break.

I’m loving Loperfido and think his ceiling is so high. Same with Barger.

Definitely more fun to watch. We will see how much an impact these guys can make next season but it is great watching the young guys playing for a job next year.

Just not certain who will still be here.

I see Loperfido’s floor as Lourdes Guerriel Jr. with better defence. Defence that can only get better playing beside Varsho. That guy has a place on our team.

Assuming they sign Vladdy, we need another elite power bat, a closer, a catcher, half a bullpen…it’s pretty crazy.

I was thinking back to before JRAM signed his extension. Scuttlebutt was we could have had him but the FO had Nate Pearson as untouchable. I wonder how many people have called about Tiedeman, and if he was “untouchable”. He won’t pitch now until 2026. Trade literally every pitching prospect, always.

Yeah pitching prospects are so volatile.

I like Loperfido as well. He has a lot of tools. A lot of swing and miss but you can live with some of that if he hits for power, runs well and plays great D.

I would like to see them get proven guys for DH and 3B though.

On another note. I tagged on SN today to see if you wanted to join the NFL Survivor Pool. 10k sats buy in.
