This is Eva Schloss, a Holocaust survivor and the posthumous stepsister of Anne Frank.
Born in 1929, she lived in the same Amsterdam neighborhood as Anne, and they were friends as kids. Both families went into hiding during the occupation, but separately. After being captured, Eva was sent to Auscamp, where she survived, while Anne passed in Berg. Years later, Eva’s mother, Elfriede, married Otto Frank, Anne’s father, making Eva and Anne stepsisters after the war. January in Poland is their snowiest month, she’s explaining that the pictures you see of the liberation are reenactments of what happened because you don’t see snow on the ground. Not that it didn’t happen, just that it was taken after to show what it was like. Specifically ausucamp where she was. https://video.nostr.build/8dad8e0b7106a2853307c908f4eeda5e65b4530b588052be0f5e5e808c9dcdb6.mp4
