I created my meme based off this book called the honest courtesan that I wrote a report on in college. Basically that was the only way women were able to get educated and interact with men back in modern Venice. The wives were forbidden from getting educated, rightfully so. They didn’t want them filling their minds with crazy ideas that were not going to help them be a mother
