That is quite unfair. Patient pay a lot. They have no choice. And doctor get little. I wonder where the different goes.

The clinic owners. Some clinics are owned by non medical people, or very business oriented doctors. Generally, a private resident doctor are paid about 8 to 11 USD per hour, but it depends.

but many clinic are struggling too. Government healthcare is very cheap so private clinics cant really charged a lot to patient.

A PRIVATE primary care consultation in Malaysia cost about 10 to 20 USD only, with medicine, consultation and medical leave certificate.

Currently, I am this.

Specialist consultation can be very high, maybe about 45 USD to 200 USD depending on the complexity of consultation.

The richest would be surgeons tho. hahha

inb4 in case you are wondering, I am currently furthering my study as an occupational specialist, so I am on a paycut ( i worked for a university). it is semester break, so that is why I am doing part times

Not all countries have cheap government healthcare, or have functional government healthcare at all.

America has very poor healthcare cost. Despite very low wage here, at least my healthcare is not expensive
