๐Ÿ™ Got you - you value notes over reactions.

To help me understand, whose notes do you want to back up?

(excuse the pedantic nature of my questions, I am trying to gain an understanding of whatโ€™s valuable to nostr users, as Iโ€™m helping a dev build something somewhat backup related)

Just my own. by nostr nature your data is very volatile, so if in some extreme case all of the public relays I use went down, all of my data is effectively gone. So if I have them backed up on a private relay I can simply rebroadcast all my data to a new set of relays

Thank ๐Ÿ™

How valuable is it for you to back up your DMs, and your contacts list relative to your notes?

If you had to stack rank from most important to least important to back up how would you rank these three (your notes, your contacts, your DMs) ?

I would have to say notes > contacts > dms

This is highly personal though, mostly because I rarely use dms. I highly value notes because of previous reasons, and value contacts quite a bit because I've accidentally wiped my whole list before and it's an absolute pain
