Any client first step is "login" or generate nsec+npub. And it ready to go - welcome to nostr mafrend. What could be simpler? And if you use it temporary for education, just forget it and later generate new key pair if needed. No "onboarding process" need in this case I think.

That's true, but I have to say that generating private keys within a client feels less safe than on my cli. But a throwaway is indeed a good way to go.
