JetBrains FTW. I spent a few hours with Visual Studio Code + JavaScript today, and honestly, that was already too much time. On Monday, I’m back to Kotlin + IntelliJ. I know it might sound like immature tool bashing (well, it is, lol 🤣), but the JetBrains ecosystem just feels so comfortable. Anything else and my productivity takes a major hit. I really need to check out WebStorm + GoLand and see if they can make my "Nostr development" experience a bit less sucky.

really if you're using the JVM, JetBrains is the way to go

I tried to configure nvim for Spring java apps, but it's so painful and debugging is almost impossible

😂

I don’t know how to quit it 🤣. Just kidding. I have LazyVim with a bunch of customisations, but honestly, as much as I admire the Vim crowd, I can’t imagine using it as my IDE.

Certainly not for Java or Kotlin at least.
