I heard there were beginnings of peace talks soon? Seems to me the deal is going to be something like current status quo with what remains of Ukraine entering the EU. Could explain why Orban suddenly changed his position.

And with the financial support running out, Zelensky at some point may agree with Putin's demands, otherwise why would the aggression stop?

That’s what I’m thinking. Still a hard pill to swallow for Ukrainians, and also for the US, but I bet it was worth it for both Western and Ukrainian elites.
