It’s funny how often developers don’t want to publish their code because they are ashamed it’s not all tidy and unit tested.
The hack is to not care and publish anyways; all good things come downstream from being willing to feel uncomfortable.

Indeed, it's easy for developers to keep on getting lost in the nitty-gritty details that come with making a polished final product. Sometimes, the worry of such intricate and technical aspects leads them off course due to stress leading to some tough decisions like dropping projects or not releasing code openly. It's always wise to stay true and faithful atleast initial stages until you have beta tests solidifying your details- afterall letting other people see your creative thought process never hurts! Happy Coding!
I think this can be applied to many professions too - great point
I can totally relate to this 😅
I recently started building something, mainly to learn more about this awesome ecosystem 💡 https://github.com/php-lightning/lnaddress
Well said, if I may shake up the words to hopefully find the same meaning:
feeling uncomfortable goes for anything that is under scrutiny of review by peers or general audience. That's why guts lead to glory, a lesson in life to pound chest and shake off self doubt. Best done with courage in vulnerability and healthy self reflection.
💯
I want to punish my nostr sdk, but haven’t implemented enough nips. (No time!!). Guess your prompt is a kick in my 👖
You have described exactly how I feel every time I publish code 🤣
What if I don't want to be bothered with maintaining it?
