Some thoughts regarding love & beauty

By a hopeful romantic :)

BTW. When was the last time you wrote a love letter to someone? No, not because it was Valentine's Day, or your anniversary, or anything other external you like to align yourselves to. But because you couldn't NOT write one? Because the way you felt was so special and so strong, that you HAD to express it, to let it out, because otherwise the flame would have burnt you up from the inside?

If you're reading this, I dare and encourage you:

BE THE PROOF THAT ROMANCE IS NOT DEAD.

BTW 2: I also kind of wanted this post to be a tribute to the song "Funnel of Love" by Wanda Jackson. The song, in my opinion, has some sort of a magic to it, whereas it conveys both the empowering and surrendering aspects of the feeling of falling in love so beautifully - the empowering part mostly through Wanda's vocals - which almost sound like a war cry; and the surrendering part mostly through the lyrics, which carry the powerlessness, a sense of divine inevitability and - almost, as if - a descent into insanity that one may feel when truly, fully, falling in love.
