Ended up in this 🐇🕳️ cause I was looking at Magic Earth (which is a proprietary OSM client for phones) and it states on its website that it is continuing the mission of General Magic (the company that made Magic Cap)

How is magic earth? organic maps and osm are both not great and magic earth does have the advantage of offline maps
